I love these little jumping spiders (Salticus scenicus). There’s a really good population of them on the south-facing wall at the back of the garden, but they’re really hard to photograph at 4-5mm long.

This one was enjoying a tasty meal of what looks like another spider on the picnic bench and I managed to coax it onto a porcelain tile to have its portrait taken.
