Kitty spotted this common pug (Eupithecia vulgata) on the kitchen ceiling – don’t know what it was doing there. 

Pugs are really hard, partly because they’re so small and partly because they all look the same (mothist). Definitely easier to identify from a photo. Believe it or not there’s a really active facebook group dedicated to identifying pugs…
